  Let's just say that Safeway as a whole, is probably one of the worst grocery store chains in the entire country. Their prices are absurdly high, and the only way to receive reasonable prices is by making an account with them and entering your phone number or card at check out. The problem is the phone number option NEVER WORKS! The card is nearly impossible to activate being how there is no clear option on their website for adding one! So far I've been ripped off at least 60 dollars worth from this store because I keep giving it the benefit of the doubt that my account with them will actually work this time.

  Has the worst smelling restrooms in the entire nation. I am not even exaggerating a little. They never take it serious and properly clean it. All they do is mask the smell which makes it worse. The manger big obese guy is not friendly at all. Only greets white folks and unwilling to go the extra mile to help you find a product. Their ready to eat hot food area smells like wet stinky socks and bleach.

  The selection of products is a bit above average for a standard grocery store, but the customer service can be pretty hit or miss. I've had excellent, efficient service and also awful service when checking out. Don't expect the people at customer service to know where things are located in the store, or if they have a particular uncommon item in stock (at least in my experience).

  I bought last minute flowers for Valentine's day here, and it was a pleasant experience. Fully stocked w/ tons of choices.
